Meet Carrie Harris-Muller
Senior Vice President and Chief Population Health Officer
Carrie Harris-Muller is the senior vice president, and chief population health officer for OhioHealth. In this role, she leads overall strategic direction for population health initiatives, including the development of prevention and wellness programs to lower risks for patients and improve overall health outcomes. She oversees the system’s care management efforts and its post-acute care programs and division, as well as OhioHealth’s Clinically Integrated Network and Accountable Care Organization. She is also responsible for the relationships with local and national payers and leads managed care for the health care system. In addition, she leads OhioHealth’s business-to-business strategies focused on delivering healthcare solutions to local employers through the OhioHealthy Health Plan and OhioHealth Employer Solutions business divisions.
Carrie is a highly accomplished and nationally recognized healthcare leader with more than 30 years of senior executive experience in insurance companies, health plans and hospital and health systems. She has deep knowledge and expertise on both the payer and provider aspects of healthcare delivery. Carrie’s experience brings a unique and critical perspective to the OhioHealth executive leadership team.
Prior to joining OhioHealth, Carrie held executive leadership positions with local and national payers and hospital and healthcare systems. She holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Public Health and is a graduate of advanced executive leadership programs from the University of North Carolina and Harvard Business School. She is also a certified managed care executive by the American Association of Health Plans where she participates as a mentor and coach and sponsor. Carrie is passionate about community service and serves on several national and local nonprofits boards.
