Meet Valda Clark Christian
Senior Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
Valda Clark Christian, JD, joined OhioHealth in March 2022 as Senior Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. In this executive role, Valda leads the OhioHealth Corporate Ethics and Compliance program and Internal Audit function.
Prior to joining OhioHealth, she served as Chief Compliance Officer and Title IX Coordinator for University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland and Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for MedStar Health in Columbia, MD.
Valda earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish from Williams College and received her law degree from Yale Law School. She also earned an executive education certificate from the Aresty Institute of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, as well as a certificate in Leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from Northwestern University.
Valda and her husband have three children. She loves baking, traveling, the arts and mentoring. She has long supported various programs to help young girls from underprivileged areas, and young college girls, grow into strong, independent, and smart women.
