Meet Wendy Elliott
President, Southeastern Medical Center
Wendy Elliott was named president of OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center in March 2020. She has spent 32 years in healthcare including nine years as a Medical Service Corps officer in the Air Force. Prior to her current role, Wendy served as Berger Health Partners executive director, Berger Hospital chief compliance officer and OhioHealth Berger Hospital chief operating officer.
Being a tenured healthcare leader with experience in outpatient, community and tertiary organizations, Wendy leads large scale strategic initiatives. She has active collaboration with providers, clinical staff and associates to deliver a high level of care to each patient.
With her personal passion to develop a culture of inclusion and collaboration she also focuses on leadership mentoring and coaching. Her extensive knowledge in understanding community hospitals and valuing the vital role they play in their county and surrounding areas, highlights her expansive insight on the importance of keeping care local.
Wendy is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, serves on the Boards of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and East Central Ohio Chapter American Red Cross and is a member of Rotary of Cambridge and the Pinnacle Ladies Association.
In her free time, Wendy loves traveling and learning about other cultures. She also enjoys reading, playing golf and spending time with her family and friends.
