Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine - O'Bleness Hospital
We train leaders in the practice and education of osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine.
The osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine (ONMM) one-year accredited program integrates specialty clinical and hospital practices with teaching and research opportunities through OhioHealth and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. We accept three residents yearly.
Why choose Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at O’Bleness
Our ONMM3 residency program is designed to train compassionate physicians that partner with patients to achieve high quality neuromusculoskeletal and bio-psychosocial outcomes through the tenets of osteopathy and advance the reach of osteopathic medicine by mastery of osteopathic principles, practices, and manipulative treatments.
A Strong Curriculum With Exciting Opportunities
We provide you with advanced training including specialized clinical and teaching opportunities.
Our one year accredited program provides advanced education and training opportunities in the treatment of acute and chronic pain grounded in the context of the whole patient. Residents gain experience through rotating in many environments including rural, urban and suburban locations. As an integral member of the ONMM hospital-based consult services residents will work in tandem with board-certified faculty in the care of diverse patient populations including pediatric, obstetrics, general medicine and surgical patients. Beyond the required rotations the customizable curriculum allows residents to truly focus their residency training as appropriate for their individual goals and experiences.
We’ll help you accomplish more.
Our residency gives you a strong foundation for long-term success and learning in patient care as an osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine physician.
Both OhioHealth and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine provide the resources to take physicians to the next level of osteopathic understanding.
